Colin Joseph Krywiak
We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of our dear son Colin at the age of 39.
He leaves behind to mourn his loss parents Dave and Wanda, brother Aaron, sister-in-law Morganne, grandfather Alex (Dido) Krywiak, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, including Sharon Beitel, Corlene (Peter), Charlotte Balding, Gary (Kathy), Samantha, Julian (Victoria), Felix, and Maia Kriviak, Janis (Chris), Alex (Kate), Michael (Emma) France, friends Steven Behnke, Tyler Stang, and Daniel Sedmak, as well as his Stang Guitar family and many other friends.
Colin was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Joe and Edith Beitel, and paternal grandmother Olga (Baba) Krywiak.
Colin was a quiet, gentle soul - Someone you just loved to be around. He had an incredible artistic personality displayed by his love of guitars, music, art, and photography. This was evident at a very early age.
Colin loved to travel, which always included taking in a concert or two. Most memorable was seeing Jeff Beck and BB King in Cleveland, Ohio on the way to see family in Athens, Ohio.
He loved animals, especially Aaron's dog Henry.
He was incredibly lucky to spend each work day being around all things guitar in sales, and then becoming photographer for the Stang Guitar website.

One of the best guys I’ve ever known. Will
Miss him forever.
We were so saddened and broken hearted when we heard this terrible news. our condolences and love for you all. so sad to have to loose a child we coud not imagine. prayers to you guys.
I first met Colin when I was hired at Avenue Guitars, and got to work with him again when I came onboard at Stang in March 2025. We had some great conversations and I learned a lot from him. He was always so awesome at everything he did and humble about it too. He had great respect for artists and always tried to help by supporting them, myself included. We enjoyed watching many short videos on instagram, especially the AI cat videos. I am still shocked. I will miss you my friend.
I am so very saddened by this news. My sincere condolences to Wanda, Dave, Aaron and families. May your precious memories of Colin be a blessing and help you through your heartache and loss.
Please know that I share your grief and am here to support you. Colin was a gifted young man with a tender heart. Such a devastating loss. 💔
I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Colin’s passing. It’s been a long time but I remember him as such a kind, sweet boy. Mike thought he was the greatest, good at everything and a super athlete, but most of all a really nice guy. He seemed to have found a life that suited him perfectly. Music, art, travel and working with people who truly appreciated him. Our heartfelt condolences to you and all of your family.
Thinking of you Wanda and Dave and family,
