Danny “Stonewalker” Lindstrom

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danny “Stonewalker” Lindstrom. May 4 1960 - March 6 2018.

Danny fought as hard at the end as he did in life before peacefully passing at Edmonton General with his daughter, Poppy, by his side.

Danny is survived by his daughters Poppy, Danika and Jill. His siblings, Jane, Mary, Linda, Paulette, Douglas, Holly, Anne, Andy and Douglas Haineault as well as a legion of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Danny Stonewalker will live forever in the hearts and memories of his friends and family. He will continue to inspire us and will be remembered fondly for the many obstacles he overcame in life.

Danny raised through the ranks of the amateur and professional boxing world to become the first Aboriginal man to hold a Canadian Boxing title. He was also the first Aboriginal man to be granted a world title shot.

Danny is pre deceased by his parents Lambert and Harriet. Siblings, Lambert Jr, Albert, Gladys, Joanne, Edna and Marlene.
