Deanna Anne-Marie Salahub
It is with great sadness our family announces the sudden passing of Deanna Anne-Marie Salahub, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Deanna passed away on Monday August 1st, 2022 in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 43.
Deanna was born on March 30th, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to parents Donald and Caroline Salahub. Deanna is survived by her daughter Emily (Brandon), mother Carol, loving partner David “Shrek”, sisters Corey (Eric), Shawna, brother Leslie, as well as extended family, friends and coworkers. Deanna is predeceased by her father Don.
Deanna enjoyed spending her weekends at Rosie’s Bar and Grill with the crew, singing karaoke, having dance parties and drinking jugs of beer. Deanna also loved her job, with all of her coworkers, and seeing all of her regular customers and giving away free coffees and slurpees.
Deanna was a social butterfly, and loved interacting with everyone through her social media. She was always known for sharing a dirty joke, a good meme or a random TikTok or Snapchat video.
Deanna lived her life to the fullest, and always expressed all of her emotions. Deanna truly wore her heart on her sleeve. Her smile and infectious laugh will be missed by many.
My heart breaks about such a loss of the great person Deanna was. She will always be in my heart. I am so sorry Emily on the loss of your Mom and best friend.

To all of Deanna’s family and friends, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I saw her many mornings as I stopped by to get a coffee, and we shared stories and laughs. I was thinking earlier this week I haven’t seen her in a bit, and was looking forward to our next chat when I came in for a coffee. She will be missed so much!
I had no idea that this happened until today. She was a friend and someone i could always talk to. Im so sorry this has happened. Im sorry emily for your loss your mother loved you more then anything.
A golden heart swiped so suddenly
I chatted with Deanna almost daily Esso Twin Brooks as she politely offered me coffee
We laffed so much…she shared her stories and was always keen to hear mine. I cant muster strength to go back in the store knowing her big smile is no longer there. I cried all the way home and prayed to God to make her the perfect Angel.

Deanna and I worked together at Esso/7-Eleven for a number of years and we enjoyed many visits and catch up sessions afterwards after I moved on. She was always such a blast to be around, and I will greatly miss our visits (which sadly were not as frequent in recent months). It is just so hard to believe and accept this news and I was beyond saddened to hear it.
She has undoubtedly left an impression on so many people through work, who I am sure will share in this loss. Sending along my thoughts and condolences.

I am deeply sorry to hear of this news. Deanna was such a beautiful soul. I have only fond memories of her. My heart goes out to Deanna’s family.
