It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father, Dennis Ian Ginther on March 27, 2023.

He passed away with his family by his side. He was an amazing dad and devoted husband to Anne. A loving father to Lisa, David (Kim), Dean, Nicki, stepchildren Gail, Brian Collins (Wanda) and Tim Collins (Joanne).  To cherish and treasure his memories as a grandpa are 15 grandchildren: Dusteen, Dallas, Nikki, Daniel, Laura, Hubert, Emerson, Austen (Asrabel), Emily, Bessie, Tanya, Shelley, Daz, Amanda and Dale. He was also a great grandpa to 19 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He also leaves behind sisters: Elaine, Iris, Patsy, Doris, and Violet; and his brothers Fred, Maynard and Lawrence.

He was predeceased by his father Edward, mother Flora, brothers Bernard, Eddie, Peter, Roland Elzier (Al), James, and his sister Sadie.

A Funeral Service will be held for Dennis on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Funeral Home, 10530-116 Street in Edmonton.

Viewing: 9-10, Service at 10am with refreshments & fellowship to follow.

Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton, AB T6V 1H4.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Capital Care Palliative Unit, 10410 111 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5G 3A2 or to your charity of choice.

    I knew your dad for many years he was a great man and he loved for his children and grandchildren His family was the world to him . I remember when the boys were younger and Dennis was always talking of taking them to hockey . he never missed a game .
    Life is a precious gift
    Once shared they remain in our hearts forever .
