Donna Audrene Hollman
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother and grandmother, Donna Hollman on May 26th 2022 at the age of 74 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by Bernie, her husband of 54 years, her daughter Jennifer (Dayne) and their children Miranda and Bryanna. Daughters in law, Martina and her daughters Honor and Kathryn. Daughter in law Melanie, and her sons Van and Kaine. She is also survived by her brothers and sister and many nieces and nephews.
Donna was pre deceased by her two beloved sons, Jeffery (Feb 2018 ) and Christopher (January 2022). We take comfort in knowing they are together again.
A Funeral mass will take place at Annunciation Catholic Church on July 8th 2022 at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow at Elmwood Hall.
Honor, Kathryn and I are so sad. We have lost Jeff, then Chris and now Grandma. Thank you for all of your prayers and wishes. We will never be the same at a Christmas dinner again – but we will endeavor to carry the family forward. Donna was a force, she laughed easily, she was generous, she was kind, she was an amazing mother, and she was an even better grandmother. I will always be grateful for her presence in my life and her support for my family. I find some peace in knowing that Jeff and Chris are with their mom. I will battle you later Mrs. Hollman to get his hand back, but for now, I’m glad you are with him. Now it is up to Bernie, Jennifer and us to carry on this legacy – and we will do our best to make you proud.
There is a card game in heaven – Donna is skillfully counting cards – could anyone ever outsmart her – no – Terry is beaming with laughter – Jeff and Chris are trying to keep up – and Alice and Jack are smiling again. May we all be at that card game one day.
