Erna Drachenberg
On Tuesday, March 6, 2018 Erna Drachenberg passed away suddenly at the age of 89 years. Erna will be forever loved and remembered by her children, Ulrich and Garry, their loving spouses, Elisabeth and Mary Louise, and Erna's precious grandchildren, Laura, Jonathan, Kurt, Davin and Loray. Erna was predeceased by her husband Erich Drachenberg, mother Wanda (Erdmann), father Emil Borau, and her four siblings Edmunda, Else, Lidia and Ewald. She will also be forever remembered by her cherished nieces and nephews in Alberta, Ontario and Germany.
Erna was a very loving, selfless and caring person with an amazing resilience that touched many lives including the many caregivers who tended to her needs during the last few years of her life. Her family would like to extend our deepest thanks and appreciation to the many care givers at the St. Albert Citadel Care Centre who made her last few years as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

Garry & Ulrich, your mom was such a sweet woman. It warmed my heart and lit up her eyes when you and your families were visiting with her. Our hearts go out to all of you.
