Ewald Grunling
On November 1, 2020, Ewald Grunling passed away peacefully at the age of 79 years.
Predeceased by his brother Otto, Ewald is survived by Ilse, his loving wife of 58 years, children Heidi (the late Brian Cook), Thomas (Kim) and Martina (Jeff), 8 grandchildren, sister Elsa Appelt (Waldemar),
sisters-in-law Frieda and Renate as well as numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
A special thank you to all of the staff at Foyer Lacombe for their care and support.
At Ewald’s request, cremation has taken place and a private Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Randy Meissner will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church or to a charity of your choice, in Ewald’s name.
I send my condolences to you and to your family during this time of sorrow. The Bible gives a real hope and it promises that your loved one will soon come back to life again in a beautiful, peaceful paradise on the earth. (John 5:28, 29)
