Henri Joseph Louis Labbé
On July 25, 2022, Henri Labbé peacefully passed away at the age of 82 after living with dementia for several years.
He will be remembered and sincerely missed by Liliane, his wife of 60 years and his children Normand, Armand and Lise (Scott) Dunn and his two granddaughters Erica and Kelly. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Cécile, Yolande, Raymond, Jeannine, Jean and René, many in-laws, nieces and nephews and dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents Achille and Germaine Labbé and in-laws Alfred and Lucille Cloutier.
Henri was a proud farmer in Falher all his life and retired in St. Albert to be near his family. Over the years he enjoyed curling, camping, fishing, playing cards, traveling, volunteering and watching sports. He loved to tease and have a good laugh with everyone.
Many thanks to all the staff of Unit 2 at the Youville Home in St. Albert who took good care of Henri for over 2 years.
A private family service will be held at Trinity Funeral Home.
Henri will be laid to rest in the Falher cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Henri’s name to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta, #306, 10430-61 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T6H 2J3.
