It is with heavy hearts that the family of Irene Hough announce her passing on July 1, 2021, at the age of 97.

Irene will forever be in the hearts of her children Roxann (Kirk) and Debbie, grandchildren Kevin, Ryan and LeeAnn, great-grandchildren Rave and Madyx as well as numerous nieces, nephews and close extended family.

Irene is predeceased by her husband George, parents Martin and Julia, sisters Selma and Evelyn and granddaughter Aimee.

A Private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Jubilee Lodge and the University of Alberta Hospital for the care given to Irene.

  7. Roxann and Debbie – sorry to hear of your mum’s passing. I enjoyed all those visits I had with her for the last few years. She was always fun and a joy to visit. I have missed her since the covid but usually tried to call her once a week. We always enjoyed the happy hours on Friday,

  9. So sorry to hear of Irene’s passing. We kind of lost touch but will never forget her, best neighbor and friend we ever had! She lived a long life, but it never seems long enough! Her family was her whole life and you all were so good to her. May she rest in peace!
