October 16, 1956 - January 1, 2020

Surrounded by his loving family Jose Carlos Melo of Edmonton passed away peacefully on January 1, 2020 at the age of 63 years, while holding his granddaughters hand.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Maria Lourdes; his two children: Debbie (Dinis) Gomes and Jeffery Melo; two granddaughters: Avaya and Adalyn; his mother Margarida Melo; his brother John (Shelly) Melo as well as numerous relatives and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his father Joao in 2014 and his sister Ana in 2013.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Bailey and the rest of the nurses and doctors at unit 54 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
