Joseph (Joe) Chilibeck
February 19, 1926 - September 14, 2023
On Thursday, September 14, 2023 Joseph (Joe) Chilibeck of Vegreville Alberta passed away peacefully at the age of 97 years.
Joe is survived by his loving family, three children Dianne, Peter, Judie; six grandchildren Sarah (Barrie), Ashley (Mike), Megan, Robyn (Perry), Tyler and Jessica; three great grandchildren Rori, Karson and Conner; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to express thanks to the staff at Mary Immaculate Care Centre in Mundare.
At his request, a private celebration of life has taken place.
Our dear, dear Uncle Joe. The memories you were part of through my whole life, I will hold dear to my heart always. Give my Mom a hug up there …. Dianne, Peter and Judie, you’re in our hearts. Love, Lynda & Maurie
Dear Diane, Peter and Judy. My deepest condolences to you all. I knew your father from the nursing home, worked with him in therapy. What a wonderful father have you had. I truly enjoyed the nice visits I had with him. One in particular , when he shared a chocolate bar offering a part of to me. It was covid time but suddenly rules were broken , all the stress dealing with covid suddenly flew out of the window. We just sat there enjoying the chocolate bar. And believe me it was delicious.
your dad was such a very good man and practical too. I am on pension since 2021 but have many time thought back of the found memories your father left me. and they alway make me smile .Hope you all are well . Leida Caspers
Just became aware of Uncle Joes passing. I have many great memories of the time spent with Uncle Joe, his family. Even though I was very small at the time I still remember his farm and farmhouse and the time spent there. A great man in many ways.
