It is with deep sadness that the family of Joycelyn Thompson announce her peaceful passing on December 3, 2023 at the age of 80.

Joycelyn will be lovingly remembered by children Steven, Adam, Jackie, Phillip, Patricia and Yvette, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as her Beulah Church family and many close friends.

A Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Trinity Funeral Home, 10530 116 Street, Edmonton.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 11:00 am at Beulah Church of Jesus Christ, 11901 50 St NW, Edmonton with burial to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 16102 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton.

For those who wish to pay their respects, there will be a viewing at 10:00 am prior to the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beulah Church of Jesus Christ, in Joycelyn's name.

A special thank you to the staff at the Grey Nuns Hospital for their hospitality and to Trinity Funeral Home for the compassion shown to the family.

  2. Sister Joycelyn was a very special person to my family and I. She was very kind and loving to us and to everyone around her and as far as to who would accept her kind gestures.
    She was so warm happy go lucky, loved to sing and dance. She loved her church of which she was a devoted member, her family, and friends. She didn’t have to know you in order to show kindness.
    I pray the Lord bless and comfort you her family as you mourn the loss of such a beautiful soul
