Judith (Judy) Gale Madiline Mulligan

Judith (Judy) Gale Madiline Mulligan made her final transition on the evening of May 18, 2025, at the age of 82.

Judith was born on November 26, 1942, in Edmonton, Alberta, to Philip and Eileen LeBlanc.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Eileen, her brothers Bob and Wayne.

She is survived by her siblings, Jo-anne, Laurie, Merilyn, Rick, Denise, Patrick, Mike, their spouses, and many nieces and nephews. Judy had three children, Joanne, Kathleen, and Scott. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. When she married Robert Mulligan, she was also blessed with four stepchildren, Nancy, Mike, Sherry, Pat and eleven step grandchildren. And let’s not forget her beloved cat, Billy!

After retiring from work, she spent time with her beloved husband at their lake house before his passing in 2013. She also volunteered her time at the Thrift Store in the Town of Barrhead where she met many kind people.

Mom was an avid card player and appreciated a good game of crib, especially when she was winning! She found quiet joy in watching birds and growing roses in her flowerbeds. Each one a small reminder of beauty and peace. Her home was filled with paintings that she had painted herself. Judy was always generous of her time and took great pleasure in gifting her paintings to whomever expressed a like for them.

Our Mom lived her life the best she knew and taught us all many little lessons along the way. We carry her in our hearts, in our stories and the way we love each other. We take comfort in knowing that Mom is no longer suffering.

Today we gather to honor her and to celebrate her life.
