Karl Heinz Seutter
It is with profound sadness that we announce that Karl Heinz Seutter, of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away peacefully on his 92nd birthday, at Shepherd’s Care Millwoods, after a short battle with cancer.
Karl is survived by his sons Terry (Bonney), James (Susan), grandsons Zach, Josh, Riley, Nicholas, his sister Gerda (Hermann) and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Emil and Bertha, his brother Erwin, his sister Elfriede, his wife Irma and his son Harold.
Karl will be dearly missed by all those who loved him and considered him a friend.
A Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 10014 81 Avenue NW, Edmonton, on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 10:30 am with burial to follow at South Haven Cemetery, 5004 Meridian Street NW, Edmonton, at 2:00 pm following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association and/or Trinity Lutheran Church.
My heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the whole family of Karl! A gentle and kind soul, a good conversationalist, a man of faith and hope, he was a blessing to me at Shepherd’s Care for the time spent here! May God’s comfort and peace surround you all in unexpected ways during your journey through the valley of grief and sorrow. He is dearly missed already!!
Sincere condolences to Karl’s family. I knew the Seutter family from church and from Karl visiting his sister, Elfriede, where I still reside at HMW. He was always very friendly, as well, his wife, Irma. He served on Property committee at TLC for many years. He will be missed! 🕊
