Leonilde Teixeira Freitas
June 16, 1929 - October 23, 2018
It is with much love, that we say goodbye to our dear mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother Mrs. Leonilde Freitas of Edmonton. She passed away peacefully on October 23, 2018 at the age of 89.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Tony (Isabel) and Louis (Frances); three grandchildren Andrea (Andre), Gary (Tina), and Jennifer; two great-grandchildren Rachel and Mateo; sibling Duarte (Alice) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
Leonilde was predeceased by her beloved husband Antonio, and siblings Jose-Luis, Fatima, Gil, Tiberio, and Antonio.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the Doctors and Nurses of Unit 17 and 18 at the Sturgeon General Hospital.
