Linda Susan Mason (nee Lepretre) passed peacefully on September 29, 2023, after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Linda was born on May 25, 1952 in Athabasca, Alberta. Linda was predeceased by her mother, Mary and husband Ron, brothers Jimmy, Kenny and sister Connie. She is survived by her children, Richard (Silvia), Derek, Nikki (Ravi), honorary son Jack, and numerous grandchildren - especially her "little shadow" Hailey. Linda is also lovingly remembered by older brother Bobby (Donna) and nieces and nephews, and friends.

Linda worked hard her entire life, including many years at the legendary Vi's For Pies, and managing restaurants, along with house cleaning. In her later years she was content to babysit her two granddaughters, along with trips to bingo and to go out shopping for finds at winners.

Linda will be remembered with a wake at Sacred Heart Church of the First Peoples October 16th at 4pm. Funeral services to follow October 17 at 10am.

If one wishes, the family asks for donations to be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, the University of Alberta or Stollery Children's Hospital, so others can be helped out like Linda.
