On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, Maria Da Luz Moniz of Edmonton passed away at the age of 87 years.
Maria will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Humberto; four children: Juliet, George (Elizebeth), Laura (Timothy), and John (Patrizia); ten grandchildren: Nick (Ashley), Ashleigh (Kyle), Daniel (Ruthie), Patrick (Nicole), Holly (Kyle), Andrew, Zach (Catarina), Justin, Jeffrey, and Mikael; four great-grandchildren: Jose, Zoey, Olivia, and Archer; as well as numerous relatives and many friends.
She was predeceased by her parents and her siblings.
