Ronald Graham Lewis

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Graham Lewis on September 8, 2026 at the age of 92.

Ronald will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sophie of 68 years, children; Teresa (Garry), Glen (Peggy), Linda (Larry), Grandchildren; Derek (Meghan), Brad (Crystal), Jenelle (Ian). Raelene (Matt), Gregory, Christopher, Jolene (Karan), Erin (James), Craig (Robin), Tyler (Anna); Great-Grandchildren; Andrew, Connor, Rose, Maddex, Nathan, Ben, Daniel, Harlyn, Daxton, Alexander, Abigail, Madeline, Isobel, Camden, Finley, Fraser, Jude.

Ronald was pre deceased by his parents; Raymond R. Lewis and Dorothy (Cassidy) Lewis and his younger brother Raymond.

Ronald was born in Athabasca, Alberta, where he grew up surrounded by friends, adventures, and plenty of opportunities to keep his family entertained with stories of his youthful mischief. Summers were spent at Baptiste Lake, and he enjoyed playing hockey with the Athabasca Aces.

As an adult, Ronald worked in a variety of roles throughout his career, but he was especially proud of his service with the Edmonton Police Service. An entrepreneur at heart, he started several businesses over the years before concluding his working career with the Alberta Sheriff Branch.

In retirement, Ronald and Sophie spent many winters in Mexico, where he enjoyed fishing, relaxing in the sunshine, and making lasting memories.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
