On January 26, 2021 Mr. Sergio Afonso of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 87 years.

Left to cherish his memory are his three loving children: Manuel Afonso of Toronto, ON, Maria deFatima (Antonio) Dias and Joe (Rosa) Afonso; four grandchildren: Dylan, Tina, Nelson and Kevin (Cassandra) as well as numerous relatives and many dear friends in Canada and Portugal.

He was predeceased by his wife Maria in 1998, his brother Joaquim and his parents Manuel and Rosa.
