Wilhelm Gendemann

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wilhelm (Willi) Gendemann on September 10, 2026 at the age of 88 years.

Willi was a devoted husband to Irene, loving father to Katherine, Opa to Alexandria and Logan and a caring brother and uncle. Willi is also survived by his sister Maria of California as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, Germany and the USA.

Willi's kind and gentle nature will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Interment will  follow at Northern Lights Cemetery, 15203 Campbell Rd NW, Edmonton.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St John's Evangelical Lutheran Church or to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta.
