Judith (Judy) Elizabeth Grobowsky

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judith (Judy) Elizabeth Grobowsky, who unexpectedly left us on September 16, 2025.

She is survived by her children, Cindy, Vincent, and Stephan; grandchildren, Ellie, Kristina, and Brooklyn; her sister, Beth Buerkle; and extended family and close friends.

Judy was born on January 25, 1952, in Calgary, Alberta, and was adopted by Jessie Elizabeth and Sydney Hawtrey Holloway at the tender age of two.

Throughout her life, Judy held many roles, including mother, wife, registered nurse, bus driver, truck driver, and finally, cook and caregiver at the Two Hills Lodge before retiring.

Judy will be remembered for her dry sense of humour, her unwavering love for her family, her bright smile, her guiding wisdom and advice, and her incredibly large heart, which she showed to everyone she met.

Those who had the pleasure of meeting Judy will find it difficult to forget her as she left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to her estate for her final expenses and to be dispersed to her favourite charities. For more information, please contact her daughter, Cindy.
