Alfred (Fred) Cost-Chretien
July 4, 1935 - April 22, 2023
Fred passed away peacefully at the Misericordia Hospital with family by his side.
He will be remembered and missed by his wife Marianne, his three sons in Australia, Mark (Marie), Steven (Soyeon), David (Joice), grandchildren Monique and Michael as well as numerous family members in Australia, Canada, England and Malta.
At Fred's request, there will be no public service.
A private family Celebration of Life has taken place.

Sorry to hear that Fred is gone. We were in the same office building on Jasper Avenue and Fred was across the corridor from us. We had a lot of good laughs and dealt with the various problems encountered while we were there.
Fred was a nice man and I don’t ever remember him being upset. He had interesting stories to tell. I did not see him for many years now but remember his smile well and the photo in the Edmonton Journal was good and seems to capture his charm. It is sad that he is gone but I think he had a good long and happy life.
