It is with heavy heart that the family of Angela Togias (nee Drakopoulos) announces her passing on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at the age of 83. Born on February 18, 1939 in Isaris, Arcadia, Greece.

At the young age of 17 she bravely left her family to travel alone by ship to come to Canada for have a better life. Angela worked hard her whole life at various jobs and helped her sisters and her husband’s siblings to come to Canada to live. Angela worked as a cook for many years and loved to prepare meals and desserts for her family and friends. Angela loved reading as she had mastered reading and writing in English. Angela was a great mother and very smart business woman. She always had great taste and a classy style in everything she did.

Angela will be greatly missed by her children Jenny and George. Her sisters, Panagiota and Andriana. Her grandchildren, Chris (Adri) and Angie (Sotirios), Angeline and Jonathan. Also, her great-grandchildren, Theodore and Maria. She leaves numerous brother- in laws, sister- in laws, nephews and nieces in Canada and Greece.

Angela was pre-deceased by her loving husband John. Her parents Nickolas and Stamatina and her sisters, Stavroula and Athanasia.
