On June 16, 2013 Tony Arruda of Edmonton passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family and friends at the age of 49 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 26 years, Brenda; two sons: Kevin (Emily) and Shawn; his mother Maria Natalia; two sisters: Maria Fatima (Antonio) and Elsa (Roy) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his father Joao Luis and his brother John Paul (Barb).

We still can’t believe our best friend is gone after 32 years of cherished memories. Driving to Leduc for coffee, camping trips, horseback riding, Disneyworld, Disney Cruise, Vegas and so many more that we will cherish. Our families have always been like one and now there is a deep hole in our hearts to lose someone who was always been considered family.
Tony, you have always opened the door for anyone needing help, renovations or to share your life. Your laughter, kindness and adventurous personality will be so missed. You fought a battle with such courage and hope that you are an inspiration to others around you. We love you to the bottom of our hearts and our adventures do not end here as we know we will be together again as two families who are one. May you be at peace with joy and happiness in your heart that you are loved by many.
