November 7, 1945 – September 13, 2021
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Antonio Martins on September 13, 2021 at the age of 75. His loss leaves a huge hole in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Antonio was a loving husband and father who was so proud of his children and the beautiful family he created with his wife of 51 years. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren which were his world. One of his favourite things to do with his family was travel together and he has left us with beautiful memories of the time we shared.
He enjoyed spending time in his garden, and happily shared it with others. He will be remembered by many for his delicious sardine BBQ’s, quick wit and endless joke telling.
Antonio is survived by his loving wife Fernandina; daughter Dina (Derek), grandchildren Davis and Heidi; son Antoni (Andreia), grandchildren Ariana and Antonio and his furry friend Teddy, as well as countless family and friends in Canada and overseas.
