My heart broke when i heard about your passing Clarence 💔 i will cherish all of the memories i have from growing up and spending so much time and sleepovers at your place. Every Saturday morning you would make your famous beer pancakes 🥞. I can honestly say to this day I’ve never had better! To you i was known as Digger which always made me laugh. You and Eleanor were so kind and generous and always opened your home to me and that is something i will always cherish. I can still see you sitting in your chair and watching your beloved Hockey and always making great conversations with us kids. I’m so very sorry for your loss Eleanor, Trish, and Kevin and family and to all of those who loved him. I wish i didn’t live so far away or i would be there in a heartbeat. Sending my deepest condolences and prayers to all of you. Rest in peace sweet Clarence, Digger will never forget you 💔 🙏 🫶
Dear Eleanor, Trisha, Kevin and families. We are so sorry to hear of Clarence’s passing. You were good neighbours and friends back when we lived on Maligne Dr. Clarence was an awesome hockey coach when our son Chad played on his team. I just bumped into Clarence last week at the IGA where we would often chat. Eleanor, a sweet memory for me is seeing Clarence in his recliner faithfully watching his favourite game shows or sports when I would drop off sewing for you to tend to. He always had time for a catch up chat. Sending our most heartfelt condolences and prayers to you all. Iain and Kim Petrie

Oh my heart is broken. Absolutely loved talking with Clarence about hockey and seeing him at the arena with his black cowboy hat, cheering on whichever home team was playing… unless it was his grandson’s team. I was blessed to have him and Eleanor as neighbours, a few doors up. I’ll miss the little waves as he pulled into the back alley. The “hello’s” out the door as I collected my mail. His humour, friendship and colourful conversations will be missed tremendously. God speed Clarence and huge condolences to Eleanor and the family.
We are so sorry to hear of Clarence’s passing. Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to you Eleanor and your family. Hugs.
