Dean David William Kalyniuk
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dean David William Kalyniuk at the age of 31. He was a much loved father, son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend.
Dean was kind, gentle and most importantly loved taking care of people and was the ultimate caregiver to his son, Mom and sister Echo. As a child, his yearly summer treks through the River Valley with Grandpa John was something he always looked forward to, and had many great memories of those in later years. He went on trips with his grandparents and aunts and uncles, again creating wonderful memories which were looked back on fondly.
Dean worked hard as a drywaller by trade, and in his youth was an avid hockey player that continued to follow and support the Edmonton Oilers in both good years and bad years. He loved the outdoors and was very happy with a fishing rod in his hand, especially with his cousin Steven or a good friend. But by far, he was happiest with his son Carter whom he loved so very, very much.
He leaves behind his son Carter, mother Ciandie Marshall (Chris), father Jason Kalyniuk, sisters Echo Fehsl and Brooklyn Kalyniuk, Grandma Joy Kalyniuk, Nanny and Papa Carlyne and Shaun Murphy, grandfather Tim Marshall, Carter’s mother Abby, blended families; Kelli (Brooklyn’s mom), her children Sharleen and Sandy (Badder) and her husband Ken Springstead, and Ron Fehsl (Echo’s Dad), as well as many aunts and uncles, great-aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his loving Grandpa John Kalyniuk, Uncle Micheal Kalyniuk, his Great-Gramma Shirlie Rusch, Great Nanny Dolly Franks as well as Great Aunt Georgette Franks.
A Celebration of Life for Dean will take place at a later date. Details will be provided when time and date finalized.
Rest in peace Dean, you are forever loved, will be dearly missed, and never, ever forgotten.
