Edna Brückmann
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edna Brückmann on April 26, 2024 at the age of 94 years.
Edna was a devoted wife, loving mother, Oma, and great-Oma, caring sister and aunt. She was a woman of great faith, devoted to her family, and very giving to others. She will be greatly missed by her three children: Irene (Willi), Wilfred (Bronwen), and Christine (David); her six grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Erna of Edmonton and sister-in-law Sigrid (Edmund) of Germany, together with many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Canada, Germany, and the USA.
Edna was predeceased by her loving husband of 72 years, Günter, in November 2022.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10759-96 Street Edmonton, AB on Saturday May 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Randy Meissner officiating.
Interment will follow at Northern Lights Cemetery.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer Society of Alberta.
I wish to express my sincere condolences. The Bible promises that your loved one will one day soon live again on a beautiful earth when death will be no more in John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4.
