Effie Jean Bykewich
December 31, 1928 - April 9, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Effie Jean Bykewich on April 9, 2021 at the age of 92 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Chris, daughters Cindy and Sheila(Carlos) and her much loved dogs Sadie and Zorro. As well as several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Nick, two sisters Anne and Josephine, and one brother John.
As per Effie s wishes, a private grave side service will be held to honour her life on April 23, 2021 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Thank you to all the staff of the Edmonton General 9Y Hospice for the wonderful care given to Mom in the last months of her life.
Rest In Peace, Mom. You are Home. We Love You.

Cindy, Sheila, and Chris……so sorry for the loss of your dear Mother. She is now with the rest of her family and I know Gramma was there to greet her first and foremost. Auntie Effie was always kind to me and like Gramma she would give you her last dollar. That is how generous and caring she was. Before you kids were born she would take me to the Exhibition and we would go on all the rides (no kiddie rides either), such a blast and good memories. Beautiful woman inside and out. Bless you Auntie Effie and God keep you.
