Eric James LeRoy Callicott
Eric James LeRoy Callicott (76) of Edmonton, AB passed away on July 16th after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He was called to the gates of Heaven - peacefully in his sleep - with his wife, Wendy, by his side.
Eric was born to John & Thelma Callicott on March 26, 1947 in Plymouth, England. He was raised in Nova Scotia and planted his roots in Edmonton. Eric is survived by his loving wife and best friend Wendy, their three children Amanda (Lokesh), Krysta (Matthew), and Daniel (Sarah). He is also survived by his siblings John, Lynette, Roydon and Debbie.
Eric loved camping with family and friends, and organizing scavenger hunts for his children, and later on, grandchildren (Brooklyn, Myra, Asher and Garrett). He enjoyed the peace and quiet that gardening, hunting and fishing brought, but also loved the chaos of a bingo hall. We will surely miss the buckets of fresh vegetables that his garden would harvest every year.
Eric's family will be hosting a celebration of life at a later date.
