Geovani Ray Robbins
Geovani was born in Edmonton in September 2003. He was a lively and active child, enjoying board games, making Lego figures, spending time with his siblings and then later with friends, going to the park and enjoying superhero themed movies.
He enjoyed playing soccer and hockey, but his big love was basketball. He would spend hours on our driveway or on basketball courts shooting hoops and practicing his 3 pointers.
He loved his food and he had a talent for cooking and creating recipes.
He lived his short life with enthusiasm and gusto, everyday a new challenge awaited.
He brought laughter and joy to the people around him and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
His untimely death is a reminder to us all to live our best lives, authentically, respectfully and with love in our hearts.

Sending my heartfelt condolences to James and Kal, Geovani’s siblings, and the rest of his beloved family and close friends.
I never had the opportunity to meet Geo, but I know how much joy he brought to James and Kal, who are two of the most kind, courageous, inclusive and community-conscious people I’ve had the privilege to know in my life.
The Sheffield rugby tribe are all heartbroken for you, and we are all thinking of and sending you our love.
