Gerald (Gerry) August Bassendowski
On September 13, 2018, Gerald passed away at the Foyer Lacombe Senior Centre at the age of 79.
He is predeceased by his wife Viola nee Fehr and brother Alfred Bassendowski.
He is survived by his children; Laurel (Buzz), Sandra (Rod), Karen (Scott), Darcy (Janice Phillips), and Marvin (Wyn), 11 grandchildren; Bernadette (Jordan), Matthew, Natasha (Rob), Gweneviere (David), Dalton (Kristina Pringle), A.J.(Laura), MacKinnen (Caity Maxwell), Evan, Hanna, Keaton, and Christopher, and 5 great-grandchildren; Dominic, Jeremy, Santiago, Sophia and Ahria.

Our hearts are broken but will mend slowly as we remember each joke, each laugh, each offer of help you gave, each memory we have. Thanks for them all! Missed but never forgotten. Rest easy. I pray for strength and calm for each of the loved ones left here to miss you!
