  1. I have two fond memories of Geanne: First, she made me and her Ate Myles drunk over two bottles of Gin in less than 15 mins. It was a fun experience – they were all laughing at how wasted I and Myles were. Second, I’d surely remember her everytime I would prepare baked macaroni. On holidays, she would either come by our house or give me a call asking me to cook baked macaroni for her.
Time passes by so fast, and now this is what is just left of us – memories! Despite the joy and sadness that these memories could bring us, I am glad that Geanne will experience greater joy, laughter, love and peace, now that she is finally in heaven with our dear Lord!

  2. Hi Loran my condolences to you on lost of your beautiful girl I pray that the lord would strengthen you and your family in this time. Although losing a loved one is never easy know that God is able to bring you through this painful time one day at a time.

  3. Ate Lorna,
I have never seen Geanne but this is a very saddening event. I have never expected that it will happen at a very young age. I know that the sadness I feel cannot equate to the sorrow both you and Vehey, together with the sisters, aunties and uncle have. My deepest condolence.

  4. Geanne, although we have’nt met my heart is with you. Your mum was a very affectionate cousin to me when I was at your early age and no doubt she did the same, she told me that you never complained about anything and you should be so proud of that, and a lesson to all.
Words fall short on expressing my sorrow, you will be missed good or bad times. We all love you always Geanne…..Tita Jane

  5. I remember Lorna and I walking to school together almost every day during our elementary days. We have lost touch since then and by some stroke of luck we found each other last year. Now I know it is destiny not just luck.
I am so blessed to have spoken with Geanne over the phone a few days before she passed away. I may never hear that much faith and strength from somebody so young in my lifetime. Geanne, thank you for giving me that opportunity.

  6. I am so proud to have a niece like you Geanne…so brave and a real fighter.
Thank you for those lovely memories you’ve shared with us during our holiday in the Phils. You were a darling to your sisters, parents, uncles, aunties, grandparents, relatives and friends. Your smile and laughter brought joy to all of us. A very obedient granddaughter to Nanay Ming, I know because I was a witness to that. This is not the end of life, this is only the beginning.
As you travel your way up in heaven, you will be welcomed by the angelic smiles and a bright light will guide you to the Lord Almighty.
Geanne, you will be sadly missed. You will be in our hearts and your memories will be in our minds forever. We love you so much.
    ….Tita Vangie

  9. My dear cousin G-anne has always been known for her tough personality… this was best emphasized by how bravely she fought the battle with cancer until the bitter end. I have so many fond memories of her, most especially when we were partners in crime always up to mischief 😉 There was never a dull moment with her; she likes to joke around and make you laugh until your sides hurt.

I’ve always known her to be passionate and strong-willed; she stands for what she believes in and will not care about what other people think… she was one amazing person. G-anne, I will truly miss you. Thank you for all the happy memories we’ve shared. You will always remain in my heart. I love you so much 🙁 May your soul rest in peace.

My heartfelt condolences to Ninang Lorna, Ninong Vejay, Ate Myles, Cla-Cla and Ivy… it saddens me to think of what you all are going through right now. The rest of our family will always be here for you. Stay strong and we love you all.

  19. Dear Lorna, Vejay and family,

I am so sorry about Geanne’s passing. I just found out now, Feb. 7, 1:00 am. I just got back from a 5-week vacation in the Philippines a couple of days ago. I just started reading my email and came across Lorna’s email about Geanne. The news really saddened me. Now, I no longer have a chance to send the flowers I was trying to send her. I told myself I’ll look for another company when I get back from vacation. I am so mad at myself for putting that off.

I am sorry I did not get a chance to meet her. I can feel she was a wonderful person and a loving daughter. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

    Love,
    Judy

  20. Dear Lorna and family,
