On December 14, 2025, Harold passed away at the age of 90 years.

Harold will forever be lovingly remembered by his two children Gordon and Carolyn, his daughter-in-law Clotilde, grandchildren James and Lucas, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Vivian, his parents Elmer and Grace, and his sisters Margaret, Hazel, Eunice, Lucille, Evelyn, and Murree.

Born in Onoway, Alberta, he grew up on a farm but later moved to Fort Saskatchewan with his mom after his dad passed away.  He met his wife Vivian on a blind date and married on October 3, 1959, remaining a loving couple for 64 years until their deaths.

He lived a life grounded in quiet strength, kindness, and dedication to his family. He spent many years in real estate with Royal LePage, taking pride in his work and in providing for those he loved.

Above all else, Harold was a family man. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, who will remember him for his gentle nature, sense of humour, generosity, and steady presence. He found joy in golf, handball, curling, fishing, art, travelling, music, hockey, playing cards, watching sports, and of course wintering in Palm Springs for many years.

He will be remembered with love and gratitude, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
