Ron David Nesbitt
March 28, 1965 - February 10, 2026
Ron was born on a sunny Sunday morning. That light continued to burn in him and he shared it with everyone he met. He was never too busy to stop and share a joke or kind word with everyone he met. This made trips to Southgate an adventure. To know him was to love him except in the various sports pools where he dominated.
Survived by his brother Dennis, sister Barb (Randy), nieces Charlotte (Ryan), Roxanne (Ben) and great nieces Lennox, Ramona, and Usha.
A private burial will be held later this summer. In lieu of flowers a please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
Condolences. I have many fond memories of Ron growing up, from street hockey and football to school chinnanagins. Rest in peace.
Ron was indeed a bright light, many fond school and neighbourhood memories. He was always a joy to hang out with.
I got to know Ron through my husband David Shapko. The guys (Dave, Don Shapko, George Gouveia, Matt Sell, Rob Eldering, Danny and Gary would play hockey, ball hockey and board games. Miss you my friend.❤️
