John Cronin

John Cronin passed July 28, 2025 at the age of 88 in Edmonton Alberta.

He was predeceased by his wife Gertrude (nee Schalm), and infant son.

He worked extremely hard to provide for his family as a custodian for Edmonton Public Schools. In his retirement years he played an active role in the lives of his grandchildren and helping out his neighbours.

He is survived by sons Tony, ( Shelley ), Shaun, Scott and daughter Stacey, and his grandchildren, Will (Vanessa) , Reid, Katie (Collin), and Spencer. He will be remembered for his generosity and his wacky, British sense of humor.

We are deeply grateful for the exceptional care provided by staff at the Sturgeon Hospital in St Albert, and Misericordia Hospital during John's final days.

Cremation has taken place and a private dispersal will take place at a later date.
