Karen Melanie Bademan
With profound love and sorrow, we announce that Karen Melanie Bademan passed peacefully into the arms of the Creator on November 13, 2025, following a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born in Camsack, Saskatchewan on July 27, 1942, Karen lived a life shaped by deep faith, perseverance, and a boundless devotion to her family.
Karen was predeceased by her mother Norma Lois, her stepfather John Bernard, her brother Lauren, her beloved daughter Elizabeth Ann, and her cherished son James Edward. We take comfort in knowing she is joyfully reunited with them now, embraced in love beyond this world.
Left to honour her legacy are her daughters Kim, Shelley, Donna, and Melanie, her sister Cheryl, as well as her grandchildren (11), great-grandchildren (8) and extended family. Her spirit lives on in their hearts, in every lesson she shared, and in the strength she passed down through generations.
Karen will be remembered for her quiet courage, her deep compassion, and her unwavering love for her children. She worked tirelessly to build a life of stability, dignity, and warmth, creating a home where her family always knew they were cherished. Her faith carried her through life’s storms, and her gentle wisdom touched everyone blessed to know her.
Though our hearts are heavy, we trust that she has found peace — healed, whole, and surrounded by the light of those who went before her. We are grateful for every moment we shared and for the enduring love she leaves behind.
