  1. That was a sad, sad day. He will be forever in our hearts.

  2. Erika, Mike and Roy and families,

Your husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather was a good man, and left behind special memories, good friends, and a very wonderful family. We hope in the days ahead, you all feel his love holding you all close and giving you comfort just as he did.

    Sorry for your loss,
    Katherine, Wayne, and Diane

  3. I have to give Karl credit that he took a chance on me when I was a mixed up teenager in 1974. He hired me as an employee at the Saskatoon Auto Park. Because Karl gave me this chance and was a mentor to me I was able to progress in life and to succeed as a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Mechanic and later an instructor in the same trade. I am 64 now and retired, but I still remember Karl and the small store that him and his wife managed in the Sutherland area in Saskatoon. I remember the boys Mike and Roy just previous to Karl transferring to Edmonton but I doubt if they would remember me, they were quite young then. Karl had purchased a 56 Mercury car just prior to leaving Saskatoon. Karl drove that classic car to Edmonton and said the car worked fine. I know Mike had that car in his sights when he would get his driver license. Just wanted to let you know Karl made a very positive impression on me early in my lifetime. May he Rest In Peace. -Al Willms
