It is with heavy hearts that Cal’s family announces his passing on January 18, 2023 after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Cal will be forever missed by his wife Kim, daughters Laura (Patrick), Andrea (Dan) and grandson Oaklen, son Michael (Blaise) and grandson Toren.

Cal is survived by his mother Cathy Masse; siblings Sandy (Ron), Mike (Jennie), Shauna; in-laws Myrtle and Nestor Hryciw, Brenda (Rick), Jacki (Bernie); numerous nephews, nieces, great nieces and great nephews. Cal was predeceased by his father John and step-father Douglas Masse.

A Celebration of Cal’s Life will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 10:00 am at Trinity Funeral Home, 10530-116 Street, Edmonton.

The family expresses its sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Cross Cancer Institute and Alberta Health Services South Edmonton Home Care for the excellent care and support they provided throughout Cal’s journey with cancer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute or Alberta Cancer Foundation www.albertacancer.ca.
