Robert Keith MacDonald

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) MacDonald on Monday May 18 in his 91st year.

Bob touched many lives through his long career with the CN. He remained connected through the CN Pensioners Association. Bob spent his retirement making a difference in the community.  He gave tirelessly of his time  volunteering for many organizations especially for the Works Art and Design Festival and Minerva Senior Studies. Bob donated generously to many causes close to his heart.  He believed in helping others, worked hard throughout his life and valued family, friends and community deeply.

Bob had many interests including World War II history,  music,  travel and being outside in nature. Fort Edmonton Park,  Jasper and New York were special places to him.

Bob will be remembered as a kind and gentle man with a generous spirit.  Bob's warmth, wisdom and humour will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.
