Sabine Regine Harbottle

It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Sabine Regine Harbottle "Oma", on October 3, 2023, at the age of 67.

She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her partner, John; children, Rhonda (Richard) and Matthew (Victoria); grandchildren, Teagan, Hayden, Rowan and Addalyn; brother, Andreas; and sister-in-law, Carol (Tim).

Sabine was born on May 6, 1956 in Germany. When she was just 3 years old, her family immigrated to Canada. She grew up in Edmonton and graduated from Bonnie Doon High School in 1975. A few years later, she welcomed her daughter Rhonda, and soon after, her son Matthew.

In 1991, Sabine began her career with the Edmonton Public School Board, where she continued to work until her retirement in 2021. Countless friendships were made over the years, which she held dear.
