Shenfield (Arthur) Maxine
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother at the age of 96.
She was predeceased by her husband (just 4 days short of 63 years) Allan. Her parents Harold and Rachael Arthur. Sister Louise (Fred) Fitzpatrick. Sister Gladys (Bob) Stones. Nephews Gerald and Terrance Fitzpatrick.
Maxine is survived by her sons Randy (friend Kelli). Kevin, Daughter Heather (Brian) Plourde. Grandson Bobby Plourde. Granddaughter Jessica (Koltin) Phillips. Great Grandson Maverick Phillips.
She is also survived by numerous Niece's and Nephew's
Maxine was a active member of the St Augustine's Anglican Church in Spruce Grove. For 63 years she was the corner stone of support to Allan in is many volunteer roles in the community. She also was a strong supporter of her 3 adult children in their lives. Her 2 grand children and especially her great grandson were the sparkle in her eyes. She enjoyed very much their visits and took pride in any of their accomplishments. The grandchildren took any of her suggestions to heart, to help improve there own situations.
The family would love to acknowledge the top notch care and support from "COPPER SKY SENIORS COMMUNITY" in Spruce Grove. Especially the unconditional care/love from Michelle Shaw.
Maxine's wish is to have: The Family have a grave side internment in the early fall.
In Lieu of flowers - Donations in Maxine's name can be made to the "Cross Cancer Foundation" of Alberta
I am so sorry to hear of Maxine’s passing. I will always have the fondest memories of her and I remember her with love.
