June 19, 1935 – May 12, 2020

Shirley Ann Bailey passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at the age of 84. She was born in Edmonton, Alberta on June 19, 1935 to Elizabeth and Charles Bailey, and she will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Dorothy Tarrabain (Mike), June Bailey, and brother Stanley Bailey.

She will be missed greatly by her 4 daughters Teresa Ferchoff (Ken), Wendy Yasinski, Debra Sieben (Randy), and Sandra Huns. Shirley is predeceased by her daughter Cindy Jordan. She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jesse Verbin, Kane Verbin, Rachelle Redix (Shanley), Jenalee Simmonds, Jeremy Shupac, Kalli Huns, Teasha Huns, Madysen Sieben, Samuel Yasinski, Taylor Jordan, Mackenzie Jordan, and great grandchildren Marcus, Christian, Taeya, Jonah and Karter.

Shirley was a true artist, and had a great passion for painting! Her memory lives on through all of her artwork, and the many people who received the blessing of her paintings. She loved to bake, garden, and was a scrabble winner every time she played. Her infectious smile, gentle soul, and warm, kind disposition will linger in our hearts and memories of her forever.  She truly was a ray of light where ever she was! Shirley will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A special thank you to all the wonderful staff at Norwood Capital Care, and Glenrose Rehabilitation Center for taking care of Shirley.

Due to the current gathering restrictions (COVID-19), we will not be holding a celebration at this time, as her immediate family was able to celebrate with Shirley prior to her passing.
