It is with heavy heart that the family of Wendy Lynn Mckenzie announce her sudden passing on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at the age of 64 years.

Beloved wife of Brent McKenzie.  Wendy also leaves to cherish her memory her son Ryan Mckenzie, sister Linda Weatherbee (Allan), sister-in-law Loraine Casbolt,  father-in-law Harold McKenzie, 2 sisters-in-law, Wendy Mckenzie & Marie Turko (Brad), numerous nieces and nephews and lifelong friend Cheryl Shapka.  

Wendy was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Alice Casbolt, her brothers William Casbolt and Robert Casbolt, her sister June Casbolt, her niece Shauna Casbolt, her mother- in-law Yvonne Mckenzie.

At Wendy’s request cremation has taken place with a private family burial.  Wendy would prefer to have a celebration of life in the home where she lived in and loved for most of her life and to play some music and remember the good times.

    As a friend and coworker of Cheryl’s I heard many stories that began with, “One time Wendy and I…” followed by a LOT of laughter. The type of friendship they shared is once in a lifetime, and I know Cheryl will miss her BFF deeply.

    I pray you all are comforted by the memories of times spent together and the laughter you shared.

    • My prayers go out to the family. Wendy will be missed. I worked with her at wicks. She was a fun gal.
