
William Kenneth Fecteau (Ken)
It is with profound grief that we share the passing of William Kenneth Fecteau on September 9, 2026 at the age of 66. Ken passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a brief battle with lung cancer.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Rhonda, son Justin, his father Bill (Norma) Fecteau, brothers Darrell (Linda) Fecteau and Ric (Colleen) Fecteau, sister Debbie Espersen, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ken was predeceased by his mother Beverly Maxine Fecteau and his brother in-law Gerry Espersen.
Ken was born in Marville, France; his father being in the Air Force, Ken grew up living in many places across Canada including Portage la Prairie Manitoba, St Jean Quebec, Summerside Prince Edward Island, Gimli Manitoba, Edmonton Alberta. It was never a dull moment in the Fecteau home with 2 brothers and a sister to keep Ken on his toes.
Ken followed in his father's footsteps in military service. Ken was Tri-Service, Army, in the regular military, retired as a Master Corporal, then went on to serve with the Air Cadet Cadre as a Captain. A total of 36 years serving his country. Ken served two tours in Bosnia, one tour under NATO and one under the United Nations. It was while serving that Ken met Rhonda, and raised their son Justin. Ken loved operating trucks, both as a military Mobile Support Equipment Operator and later as a civilian driver. Ken was always a quiet private person. He loved fishing and the outdoors. One of his favorite places was their cabin at Redfield, near Thorhild, where Ken and Rhonda loved having quiet getaways or gathering with close friends. Ken was a handy man and enjoyed helping to maintain the Redfield property. His presence will be missed by so many.
A Celebration of Life for Ken Fecteau will be held
Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 2pm

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Ken can be made to the Cross Cancer Society or to a charity of one's choice.
