Services for funerals and cremations in Edmonton, Alberta

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Pre-planning is all about taking charge of your end-of-life options – for yourself and more importantly your loved ones. Pre-planning generally takes a few hours to complete either at our office or in your own home. It only takes a little time, but can save countless hours of time and indecision for your family. The gift of preplanning is one of the greatest you can give to your loved ones. We encourage you to contact us at info@trinityfh.com, call us at (780) 486-2590, or use our online contact form. We look forward to assisting you!

We do. We were the first Funeral Home to conduct a Green Burial in Edmonton! Natural or Green Burial is focused on reducing the environmental impact on the earth. All materials used in the process, including the casket, shroud and even clothing, is made up of biodegradable material. Concrete vaults and grave liners are not used and there are generally no traditional monuments erected to mark the grave. Instead a communal boulder, plaque, garden or fence is erected. In some cases, an indigenous plant or rock can be placed at the gravesite.

Trinity is a full service funeral home. We offer Simple Cremation, Celebration of Life, and Traditional Burial and Cremation Services as well as Green Burial options. We know that every life is unique and every family wants to celebrate that life differently. Trinity Funeral Chapel and Reception Centre is the ideal place to help you commemorate the life of your loved one.

To offer you and your family security and confidence, Trinity Funeral Home can help you arrange a customized pre-funded advanced funeral services plan. By taking care of your funeral details now, you can ensure that your wishes will be followed and your family will not be taxed with the stress of planning a last-minute funeral.

When you pre-plan with Trinity Funeral Home, we’ll help you determine precisely what type of services you want—no matter how simple or elaborate.

A simple cremation is a service wherein the cremation process is done immediately following the death of the individual. There would be no need for embalming, viewing, visitation, or wake services, which generally add more expenses. On the other hand, a traditional service can either be a traditional cremation or a traditional burial service. Both of these services incorporate the benefits of traditional funerals, followed by either a burial or a cremation.

A “Celebration of Life” service is a unique ceremony that adds a personal touch and honours the loved one that has passed away. It can be done at any location, since the body of the deceased is not present during this time. A personalized memorial service can be arranged as well, if there are any special requests that the family would like to incorporate into the ceremony.

Yes! We sell a variety of funeral merchandise, such as caskets, urns, mini keep-sake urns, and jewelry. We even have casket and urn selection rooms in our Downtown Edmonton location to make the selection process easier for you and your loved ones.

After all the funeral arrangements have passed, Trinity Funeral Home provides aftercare services that include but are not limited to Notification of Death and a number of final documentation services. These administrative tasks, consisting of government forms and paperwork can be stressful and overwhelming, that is why we provide our final document services— we want our clients to know that all of these responsibilities are being handled thoroughly and professionally.
