Normand Alphonse Garand
It is with deep sadness that the family of Normand Alphonse Garand announces his passing on April 9, 2025, in Edmonton, Alberta, at the age of 71.
Born in Falher, Alberta, Normand was a man of strong faith, quiet strength, and deep devotion to family and community. A skilled general contractor, he lived much of his life in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.
Normand will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Céline; his brothers Victor, Gérard, Roger, and Léo; his sisters Laura, Thérèse, and Dolorès; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is now reunited with his beloved parents, Jeanne and Alphonse, and his brother Jacques.
Normand’s sweet tooth, love for sugar pie, and playful spirit as a great trickster will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Normand, it is with great sadness that you left us, and you left us far too soon. You are leaving us with wonderful souvenirs and with a beautiful daughter that you and I shared together. May the Lord great you in his open arms and may you rest in peace. My condolences to his family and friends.
Normand, c’est avec beaucoup de chagrin que j’ai appris que tu étais décédé, et si tôt dans ta jeune vie. Tu nous laisses avec des beaux souvenirs et avec une incroyable fille que nous partageons ensemble. Que le Seigneur t’accueille dans ses bras grands ouverts et que tu te reposes en paix.
