With heavy hearts, Murray’s family shares the news of his passing on Saturday, June 28, due to complications following a fall.
The last few years of Murray’s life were not without challenges, and we are deeply thankful to all who stood by him with kindness, friendship, and support. Murray is lovingly remembered by his wife, Heather, and his greatest joys—his children Taylor (James), Kendyll, and Graden (Maya)—as well as his cherished grandsons, Callaghan and Harrison. His final years were brightened by the steadfast love and care of his father, George. He will also be deeply missed by his sister Deletta (Tom) and nephews, Zach and Ryan. Murray was predeceased by his mother, Deloris, and mother-in-law, Betty.

My deepest condolences to Murray’s family and all who knew him. It was only recently that I found out about Murray’s passing. Murray and I lived together in the same dorm at CLC in the 84/85 school year. Our dorm was a very close group and we did a lot things as a group and Murray was a very big part of that experience. As life goes on there is the inevitable drift that happens as our individual lives take us in different directions and to different cities. And yet the memories and emotions to that year has been able to last for over 40 years and all those that knew Murray will feel his absence. Rest Easy my friend. You will be remembered.
