Victoria Hardeman
In Loving Memory of Victoria Hardeman
With heavy hearts, we share the news that our dear Victoria Hardeman passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, at the age of 87.
Born on May 21, 1938, along with her twin brother Hans in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
In 1958, as a 20-year-old newlywed, she made the courageous decision to move to Edmonton and start a family. Victoria lived a full and meaningful life surrounded by the people she loved. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernst, and her daughter-in-law, Penny.
Victoria will be deeply missed by her children: John, Wendy (Joe), Chris (Shelley), and Cliff (Holly), and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren . She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her growing family. She also leaves behind much-loved siblings/in-laws, nieces, and nephews in the Netherlands, with whom she shared a special bond despite the distance.
Victoria asked that there be no funeral service, and we will honour her wishes. Instead, her family will carry her memory forward through the stories we share, the traditions she began, and the love she gave so generously.
Forever loved, forever remembered.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the University Health Foundation would be appreciated.
The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.
John & Tyler & The Hardeman. Family. Sorry for the loss of your Mom & Grandmother. Sincere condolences to all of you . May she rest in peace. Dennis & Marie Countryman. 🌹
To the Hardeman family:
I am so sorry for your loss.
I had the pleasure of working with Vicky at The Bay Londonderry..
She was always very kind, caring , funny and just a joy to be around.
She loved a good joke and was always a willing participant in the practical jokes we played on one another.
I will remember her and the kindness she shared each and every day.
Vicky truly has a special place in my heart and I will remember her always.
May you find peace in your special memories that will comfort you today and always.
Rest easy my friend you will be missed.
With heartfelt Sympathy
