Ann (Pennock) Berry
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Ann Berry of Edmonton. Ann left us peacefully on November 6, 2025, at the age of 82 years.
Born in Elnora, Ann grew up on a farm near Innisfail where she later met her husband Arnold in high school. They moved to Edmonton in 1966 and raised a family of four. Her children were fortunate to have a stay-at-home mom as they grew up, while Ann also supported Arnold’s plumbing business as the bookkeeper. Later in life, she especially enjoyed her administrative job at the Edmonton International Airport where she could watch planes land and take off through the large window at her desk.
After retirement, Ann continued to enjoy curling in the winter with friends, gardening, going for walks, reading, playing cards with family and friends, doing crossword & jigsaw puzzles, as well as watching sports and favourite TV shows with Arnold.
Ann was on the quiet side and will be fondly remembered for her smile, kindness, generosity, and laughter. She and Arnold were wonderful parents and prioritized spending time with their children and grandchildren.
Ann is survived by her children Crystal (Michel), Rod (Debbie), Darren (Michelle) and Jared (Kimberly) and her grandchildren Evan, Carson, Karissa and Nathan.
The family will have a private celebration of Ann’s life at her final resting place in Innisfail, AB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, family and friends can make a donation to a charity of their choice.
